Salary: £34,796.00-£50,056.00 D.O.E

Hours: Full Time

Client is a surveying and architectural consultancy with expertise in identifying and designing homes for individuals with specific accommodation requirements. They are seeking an experienced housing Occupational Therapist to join their growing property search team.

Job Role:

The main duties of this varied and interesting role includes:
* Independently manage a complex caseload in consultation with the OT Clinical Lead
* Undertaking housing OT assessments, using highly effective communication skills and activity analysis, with an understanding of health, disability, and environmental adaptation
* Undertaking desk-based research of the property market to gather, review and assess property details for suitability, liaising with estate agents, consultants and developers
* Attending property viewings in person to assess for suitability
* Producing assessments and reports with detailed recommendations and clinical reasoning to justify costs and support the adaptation design process. Produce market review reports for stakeholders.
* Working in an advisory capacity to the Building Surveyors and the client team regarding equipment and adaptations
* Providing clinical oversight of building projects to ensure the specification of work remains appropriate to meet the accommodation needs of the client

Clients Requirements:
* Has a minimum 2 years post-qualifying experience
* Has an understanding of technical plans, housing adaptations and specialist equipment
* Is driven and uses initiative to work autonomously with minimum supervision
* Demonstrates excellent attention to detail
* Has excellent communication skills
* Holds a clean driving license and access to own vehicle
* Is registered with the HCPC
* Holds an enhanced DBS
