JustOT are looking to recruit a band 6 Community Post Covid Service Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in Norfolk.

The pay for this position is £20-£23 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

1. Professional and Clinical
* Provide assessment for patients referred into the service in line with agreed guidelines.
* To liaise with GPs and Consultants about the patients under their care.
* To accept referrals and manage a patient caseload according to agreed guidelines.
* Supporting the improvement of Standards of Care for people with Post-COVID syndrome, in line with the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) Guidelines
* Working with the wider MDT across Norfolk and Waveney acute and community pathways to deliver care for people with Post-COVID syndrome.
* To assist in the provision of training and education for patients, carers and professionals to develop the skills required to manage Post-COVID syndrome effectively.
* Demonstrate specialist knowledge and skills through continuing professional development in line with local and national guidance.
* To maintain own levels of clinical competence.
* Working autonomously with support from Band 7 and Clinical lead and being accountable for own practice
* To promote and facilitate research and evidence-based practice
* To maintain a high profile in the clinical area, acting as a role model for other health care professionals.

* Develop knowledge and skills in management and leadership.


Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
