JustOT are recruiting for an Occupational Therapist at band 6 level specialising in Paediatric for a locum vacancy in Reading.

The pay for this position is £20-£23 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

Hours: 15-20 hours per week. Term time only (This could be increased up to 30 hours. The extra hours would be in a setting with higher needs students, working within a multi-disciplinary team.)

Job description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in supporting mainstream college students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct functional assessments of students with SEN and EHCPs to identify their individual needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
* Write clear and concise annual reports, detailing students' progress and areas for improvement.
* Develop and implement tailored therapy programs to support students' physical, emotional, and social development.
* Provide direct one-to-one or group therapy sessions, as required, ensuring the highest level of care and professionalism.
* Collaborate effectively with other professionals, including tutors, support staff, and external agencies, to ensure the best possible support for students.
* Participate in professional development activities to maintain and enhance your knowledge and skills.
This job is term time only and there are some flexibility on the hours and how this is used. It is expected that you will work on site with students.

Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
