JustOT are looking to recruit a Community Social Services Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in South London.

The pay for this position is £35 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to We have an exciting opportunity for 2 experienced, innovative Occupational Therapists to join the team.

To review moving and handling needs and assess for optimal care.
You will have extensive experience in moving and handling assessments.
You will guide and support implementation of optimal care through robust risk assessment, positive risk taking, and strength based work. You will have enthusiasm to enable people to live more independently, and promote positive outcomes for residents, as well as achieving savings through enabling optimal care.
You will be an excellent communicator, able to work in partnership with residents, their families, care providers and other professionals. As a registered Occupational Therapist with experience in social care, you will be working across the borough completing targeted reviews.
You will be working closely with the multidisciplinary team of Social Workers and Assessment Officers.
You will also work closely with the other teams and partners to ensure that assessment and recommendations are robust and fully meet the needs of our residents.
You will make recommendations for equipment and adaptations, including major/substantial adaptations to assist people to maintain independence.
You will have sound knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Care Act, Housing Act and the principles of safeguarding.
You will report to the Optimal Care Lead Occupational Therapist and receive monthly supervision and guidance, as well as informal support.
We have embraced a hybrid way of working. You will be required to be based in the office regularly and be able to visit people face to face in the brough .

Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
