JustOT are looking to recruit a band 6 Senior Social Services Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in London.

The pay for this position is £40 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experience Senior Occupation Therapist to join our Occupational Therapy Service working with older people and younger adults with physical disabilities leading on Care Act assessments, support planning and case management.

We offer hybrid working and flexible working hours.

Duties include:


* To deputise and support OT Assistant Service Manage and to provide operational and motivational leadership of OTs and OTAs.

* To undertake and complete specialist Occupational Therapy assessments of people with physical disabilities in their homes and hold a small caseload with complex cases.


* To recommend and provide OT equipment, major adaptations and moving and handling plans

* To support staff with supervision and case management, guidance and expert advice to Occupational Therapy and social care staff

* To screen incoming referrals to the OT service and deal with them appropriately only when required.

* To allocate cases to workers, authorise OT assessments and equipment.

* To provide OT support to access advisors, team managers and other colleagues

* To make further referrals internally and to other services where appropriate.

Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
