JustOT are recruiting for an experienced HCPC registered Occupational Therapist , to work with our well-respected client based in Cheshire.

Pay is £37 per hour

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our Community Access Team which is the front door team to adult social care. The team is multidisciplinary with Occupational Therapy and Social Work. We use an OT first model of practice with the aim of promoting independence and delaying or preventing the need for services. The use of technology enabled care is to be promoted to assist in this.

The role requires the completion of a variety of work including complex housing situations, screening for DFG, taking first enquiries regarding moving and handling, utilising reablement services, issuing equipment, minor adaptation work, utilising technology enabled care and any other tasks deemed appropriate by management.
You must have an awareness of safeguarding and work as part of the MDT to ensure safety and risk management.
You will be expected to have some office presence and have a driving licence and use of a vehicle during working hours for when required. A large proportion of the work is completed over the telephone. There will be some working from home opportunities but not all week.

Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
