JustOT are looking to recruit a band 6 Oncology Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in Hertfordshire.

The pay for this position is £20 -£23 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

* Working Pattern: Would consider part time or full time position. Minimum 18hpw.
Mon - Fri 8:30-4:30 full time
Mon, Weds, Fri 9 - 3:30 minimum part time

SPECIFIC SKILLS:
* Oncology / palliative care / general medical experience.
* Working as part of the Therapy and Social Work Team, the post holder will provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and treatment of oncology patients with diverse, chronic presentations and highly complex needs due to their cancer diagnosis and/or treatment.
* The role will include working with inpatients and outpatients, reviewing patients face-to-face, over the telephone and in our new Therapy and Wellbeing Gym.
* Effective occupational therapy management will include admission avoidance, complex discharge planning, cognitive and physical rehabilitation, and supportive symptom management from diagnosis through to end of life care.

Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
