JustOT are looking to recruit a D2A Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in London.

The pay for this position is £24- £27 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

REQUIREMENTS : Previous community and discharge planning experience

Car driver and access to own car for work preferred (non-car drivers would also be considered)

Mon-Fri, up to 37.5hr week

Community based rehabilitation working on a 6 week pathway

Caseload consists of patients on the Discharge-To-Assess (D2A) pathway that currently require new 24hour care and have potential to progress to having less dependent needs / being discharged home.

Lead on discharge planning with an MDT approach, working closely with Physiotherapists, Rehabilitation Assistants, Social Workers and Nursing Home staff.

Commonly encountered conditions include: Deconditioning from acute hospital

Deconditioning post infection such as UTI, RTI

Falls

Rehabilitation of orthopaedic patients (eg. Post # NOF)

PD

COPD

Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
