JustOT are looking to recruit a band 6 CAMHS Practitioner Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in Lancashire.

The pay for this position is £20- £23 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an on going duration.

Monday - Friday 9am -5pm for 37.5 hours.
Part - time hours will be considered

Band 6 (however willing to accept Band 5 with transferable skills/experience) Will only accept capped NHSi rates

To assume responsibility for management of a defined caseload using specialist knowledge and advanced clinical reasoning to undertake assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care programs for children and families, liaising with and referring to relevant agencies as appropriate.

To take an active role in the holistic assessment and treatment of young people who present to the service, with mental health problems and especially those that are at risk of, or have attempted deliberate self-harm.

Provide liaison with other professionals and agencies in order to provide effective communication leading to a comprehensive and integrated package of care around the young person, their families and/or carers.

To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

To offer therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practice and in line with the NICE guidelines.

Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
