JustOT are looking to recruit a band 6 Community Social Services Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in Merseyside.

The pay for this position is £30.78 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.

We are recruiting 2x Moving and Handling Occupational Therapists to support a moving with dignity project with the aim to reduce double handed care packages to single handed care.
Professionals interested in this role must have experience of working with people who have complex needs and will be responsible for the completion of moving and handling assessments, detailed risk assessment reports, and offering moving and handling training to formal and informal carers. They should have knowledge of up to date moving and handling techniques, including moving and handling equipment and a good understanding of complex physical disabilities. Experience in the provision of equipment and major adaptations and good IT skills would be an advantage.

This is a 2 year fixed term post to support our single handed care project and you will join our existing moving and handling team.

Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
