JustOT are looking to recruit a band 6 Community Social Services Occupational Therapist for a locum position with our client in Slough.
The pay for this position is £38 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.
To work as a member of a community based team of Occupational Therapists working in locality models. Use OT expertise to assess, implement, evaluate and review plans for service users and carers, applying asset based, compensatory and adaptive methods of Occupational Therapy to promote independent living.
Provide a broad range of support to clients who have physical or mental health problems, learning difficulties, dependencies or who are elderly and inform. Help to develop and/or maintain resident's independence using a strengths based approach.
To take a lead role in the development DFG applications, initial design briefs and presenting to DFG panel
Application of a working knowledge of the Care Act 2014, Housing Regeneration Act and Disable Facilities Grant Guidance, Health & Safety Legislation and Building Regulations
Successful candidates must hold a degree in occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.
