Permanent Senior Occupational Therapist
Location: Berkshire
Salary: £38,000 + Excellent benefits

Excellent opportunity for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join a multidisciplinary team at in Berkshire to help people develop new skills and build a brighter future. My client is a 130 bedded independent hospital that supports service users that require medium and low secure Forensic Mental Health Services. In addition to these services, there is also a PICU Mental Health Service. My client is looking for an occupational therapist, to take on responsibilities for the delivery of occupational therapy services across the ward and help people develop new skills and build a brighter future.
Other responsibilities:
*Evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans
*Maintain accurate service users' records, including care notes, written reports and discharge summaries following hospital and professional standards
*Implement and develop evidence-based therapeutic activities to aid service user mental health recovery
*Provide a professional contribution to, and liaison with clinical teams, associated disciplines and external agencies
*With experience from the NHS or private sector, you will be responsible for managing a designated caseload using theoretical and practical experience. You will be involved in completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans, with a strong emphasis on teamwork, you'll receive support from a regional network of healthcare professionals and enjoy access to a variety of training courses to support you reach your career goals.
To be successful in this role:
*Diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy
*HPC Registration
*Knowledge of Mental Health Act 1983 & CPA
*Experience of working in a similar setting
