JustOT are looking to recruit a HCPC registered locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work for one of our well respected clients based in shropshire.
The role is due to start ASAP. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri

The successful candidate will need a minimum of 2 years post-grad experience, with at least 1 year in the NHS.

expected to undertake all physiotherapy in the community and may need to attend weekly MDT Meetings to assist with patients discharge from rehabilitation beds. Worker must have access to own vehicle to be able to carry out a community caseload.

The role is for a full-time OT working 8am - 4pm, to start mid-July for approximately one month, possibly longer.
Candidates need to have recent experience of a fast-paced discharge-planning environment (preferably NHS). Here is a summary of our requirements:

*Experienced locum Occupational Therapist to work in Walton on Thames, Surrey
*Community Rehab Hospital
*Frail elderly rehab/complex discharge-planning
*Fast-paced environment (previous A&E experience useful)
*Equipment knowledge and provision
*Knowledge and experience of using patient transfer aids eg hoists, patient turners, etc.
*Access Visits to patients homes (must be a driver/ provide driving license - we have a pool car)
*Strong IT and communication skills
*EMIS user desirable

Rates: £24-£27 per hour (UMBRELLA)
Hours: Full Time
Essential: HCPC Registration
