Just OT are recruiting for an experienced, HCPC registered, Senior Occupational Therapy to work with a client of ours based in the West Midlands.

The successful candidate will have experience in
Position: to work as a Senior Occupational Therapist on Occupational Therapy Access and Prevention (A&P) Duty Team. Aim:
To complete effective and timely screening of all Occupational Therapy referrals which may involve complete telephone assessment, same day visits, provision of equipment's and signposting to ensure patients are safe in their home environment.
Prevention - by providing immediate response to promote independence by the provision of equipment, avoiding and delaying the need for care and hospital avoidance
Minor adaptations: grab rails, temporary ramps
Equipment's: paediatric and adult specialist seating (this may require a visit to assess postural and functional needs, a rep visit and handover review), experiences on mobility and transfer is essential, shower and bathing equipment's.
Manual handling- Advice, assess and provide manual handling equipment's (mandatory for this position)

Pay Rate: £28.00 per hour
