Just OT are recruiting for experienced, HCPC registered, Occupational Therapist to work with our well-respected client based in North Yorkshire

Must have relevant Moving and Handling Experience/Training Occupational Therapist to cover Northallerton /Scarborough possibly Harrogate
Occupational Therapy is a vital function of Adult Social Care, ensuring that individuals can maintain their independence and live life to the fullest in their own homes. Occupational Therapists work closely with Social Care colleagues and Health professionals to support individuals to help themselves through realising their own goals and improving their wellbeing. You will provide technical expert information in relation to moving and handling of people and equipment and techniques to support carers both formal and informal. This will include knowledge and experience of care reduction techniques to support flexibility in care packages, advice, and support. You will take a pivotal role in relation to complex cases and will need to provide face to face assessments in a person's place of residence. We're needing 2 full time qualified Occupational Therapists, working flexibly across a large geographical area with complex casework, primarily focussed on moving and handling assessment and planning

Currently Occupational Therapists are working from home and only completing home visits for people meeting the threshold of 'essential'. Other assessments are completed virtually or by telephone

Pay Rate: £29.00 per hour
Full Time/ Flexible hours
Essential Requirements: HCPC registration, Social Services Experience
