JustOT are recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist who is looking to work in the Jersey region.

Job Summary

Skill set required:
Experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the area of Older adult mental health.
To be able to undertake specialist Occupational Therapy assessments in the area of older adults mental health.
To be able to gather personal and clinical information form clients and carers, whilst undertaking OT assessment in the person`s home.
To be able to formulate best practice care plans and undertake therapeutic interventions within a multi-disciplinary and patient-focused approach.
Work in a way that is recovery focused and enables patients to maintain independence for as long as possible.
To be able to manage complex caseloads independently.
Good communication skills and flexibility.
Good problem-solving skills in order to work independently within the community setting.
Good understanding of environmental adaptations and equipment prescriptions for persons in older adult mental health.
Clean drivers licence and own vehicle for work purposes.
