JustOT are recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist who is looking to work in the Greater Manchester region.

Job Summary

We are looking for an OP MH OT for a 3 month period, with knowledge and skills in organic and functional mental health. They will be supported by a Team Lead remotely, but will essentially be lone working. The role is based in an integrated Health and Social Care team and they need to be able to drive. They will cover the community setting in the Cynon Valley in the RCT/CTMUHB boundaries. Their role will be to provide specialist assessments within the home environment, for people with complex dementia, MCI or functional mental health. They will need to provide a detailed plan of intervention, which combines a holistic view of the needs of the person, their family and carers. They will be working with care staff looking at the persons ADL's and how to enable independent performance and maintenance of skills.
