JustOT are recruiting for a Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist who is looking to work in the Oxfordshire region.

The City Adult Mental Health Treatment Team in Oxford are looking Band 6 OTs. This is for full time hours . The role is predominately Monday - Friday though some weekend working will be required.

This is a busy team in an urban area, experience of managing a case load and undertaking risk assessments. This is a community role therefore a car driver with access to a vehicle is essential.

The suitable candidate will be expected to have a full drivers licence with access to a car for business use, they should have experience of working in community mental health settings with patients with severe and enduring mental illness. They will have a caseload of around 20 patients who are subject the Care Programme Approach (CPA) framework and will be expected to carry out interventions to meet their needs and support them to achieve their goals. They should be motivated with excellent communication skills and work well within a multi-disciplinary team. The team is supported by the team manager, the deputy manager and the consultant psychiatrist, and the MDT relies heavily on team work from the full MDT of care co-ordinators, support worker, psychologist and admin team. You will be well supported and receive regular supervision.
