Working with the NHS our client's mission is to provide a unique service that will ensure that all service users will receive the mobility equipment they require on time. They are looking for an exceptional occupational therapist to provide a clinical input to all service users, their families and carers, working closely within the established multi-disciplinary team.

The role:

Be responsible for using advanced clinical skills in the assessment of adults and children, and in provision of complex wheelchairs with associated posture management and pressure management accessories.
Provide guidance and supervision of junior staff in ensuring quality of a clinical service, and working in partnership with local voluntary sector and statutory services and for ensuring we deliver the vision
As a qualified Occupational Therapist with strong people skills, you will be responsible for driving the quality of frontline services to our service users, keeping this initiative as a beacon for the work.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is keen to balance their experience of managing a customer focused service with a clinical caseload
Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills combined with the ability to manage a varied workload are essential for this exciting position

The successful candidate will have:
*Degree/Diploma in Occupational therapy
*Current HCPC registration
*Experience of undertaking holistic assessments.
Previous experience of working as an Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist working with patients with long-term and deteriorating medical conditions, including palliative care and an understanding of the impact of these conditions on patient's lives
Experience of staff supervision and appraisals.
*Previous experience of working in a Wheelchair service is preferred but not essential
*Current UK driving licence is essential
