JustOT are looking for an enthusiastic, junior Occupational Therapist, to join a well-established hospital in Hertfordshire. Our client is looking for two junior OTs to join their acute inpatient service covering a selection of rotations. They are open to offering static positions, and can offer tier two sponsorship.

£24,000 - £31,000 per annum inc HCA
Band 5 - Inpatient rotations
Tier 2 sponsorship available
The rotations are 6 months in duration and are in Stroke, Care of the Elderly, Medicine, Surgical, and Orthopaedics - trauma and elective.
Each rotation is supported by a robust senior tier with a wealth of experience to help guide and support post holders in individual learning needs but also to strive to ensure that the best standards of care are provided. A well established probationary, supervision and apprasial process is in place to help facilitate this. We also offer In-Service training opportunities and experience will be gained in the informal supervision of assistants when appropriate.
There are also opportunities for study leave and course funding both internally and externally.
The Trust is a busy acute district general hospital with most of the main caseload now centralised at the General Hospital site. As a trust they have a busy Accident and Emergency department and one of the largest Acute Assessment Units. This will allow you to gain experience in rapid therapy assessment to help support patients to the most appropriate place of care, as well as participate in avoidance of admission pathways.
The successful candidate will provide specialised assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs, and to provide expert advice, guidance and information to health and social care professionals, carers and relatives and other non-professionals. You will also perform advanced occupational therapy assessments of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions; to develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme which will contribute to safe discharges and prevention of hospital admissions.
The Hospital (where the majority of rotations are currently based) is within easy walking distance of the Metropolitan line (underground) and London Midland overland Train Station, which is a 20 minute journey away from London Euston.

They are also surrounded by picturesque villages, bustling towns, great shopping, bars and restaurants.
