JustOT are recruiting for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist who is looking to work in the London region.

Description

To work in a community team with adults who have learning disabilities. Full time.

Learning Disability Team works with adults from 18-end of life. We work with mild to severe patients. Co-morbidities within the client group are cerebral palsy, severe physical disabilities, schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, personality disorder, ASD to name a few.

We work to make them as independent as possible and to have the most meaningful life possible.
Groups, individual interventions, working with care providers, families and support workers.

Enthusiasm and charisma are absolutely essential to this role. A knowledge of inclusive communication good and experience of communicating in different ways essential. An interest in co-production and ensuring the patient is at the centre of their own care is crucial to successful work within this team.
