JustOT are recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist who is looking to work in the Essex area.

Hours - 37.5 pw

The Therapist will be required to work within the Community Treatment Team (CTT).
CTT is a hospital avoidance rapid response team.
We work within the community and in the Emergency Department. The therapist will be required to have sound clinical reasoning in order to determine if a person is safe to remain at home or requires hospital admission. It is a multidisciplinary team and liaising with our nursing and social work colleagues is paramount. CTT work in partnership with London Ambulance Service (LAS) and as a result there will be therapy visits when LAS are on scene.
The therapist will be required to order and provide ADL and manual handling equipment.
The therapist will need to be responsive and able to work within both areas confidently.
The team cover a seven day service and have a range of shifts available from 8am-8pm. Options can be discussed as to what hours suit the candidate and the service.
