Paediatric Occupational Therapist London
Full Time & Part Time (37.5 hours)
Salary: £23,000 - £38,000 (Dependent on experience)
Our client is an independent Paediatric Therapy and Educational Service. They offer Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy and Psychology services with several established clinics in London. We also have several school-based practices with satellite clinics spread throughout central and Greater London, as well as Europe, Russia and the UAE and the USA.
Their clinical team provides Paediatric OT, PT and SLT, with the focus on Sensory Integration and Neurodevelopmental treatment, but offer traditional therapy approaches as well. They work with children and young people usually on a 1:1 basis in our clinic rooms, offering assessment and direct therapy input. Their clinic rooms are very well resourced with soft play and suspension equipment and apparatus that is necessary for sensory integration therapy. They also offer training, advisory and consultation services in the United Kingdom and further afield.

*provision of direct paediatric occupational therapy to children and young people in a private clinic setting using a sensory integration and neurodevelopmental approach that facilitates and promotes development, functional and academic performance.
*Meets the patient's goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining occupational therapy treatment plans in consultation with, parents, educators, medical and other related professionals.
*Through direct therapy promotes development to achieve short term targets and long-term goals of reaching appropriate functional norms, activities of daily living, and sensory-motor, educational, recreational, and social activities
*Through indirect therapy provides advice, guidance and training for parents and educators to effect reinforcement therapy objectives and to promote understanding of the presenting needs of the child.
The ideal candidate will have:
*Experienced in working in paediatrics using sensory integration techniques.
*Degree in Occupational Therapy, along with a HCPC registration
*Must be keen to work in a fast-paced environment within a friendly and excellent multidisciplinary team with a diverse caseload.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well a pleasant and professional manner for client relations
