JustOT is recruiting for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist to work on an exciting Mental Health opportunity, offering two distinct services (Adult care and CAMHS) in Potters Bar.

Full-Time - 37.5 hours per week
Band 5 - Salary Up to £26,000

Job Description:

Assisting in ensuring that an effective and efficient system of OT service delivery is maintained
Providing comprehensive initial and continuing OT assessments, according to the agreed model and in accordance with CPA guidelines and patient care plans
Assisting in the planning and running of suitable individual and/or group treatment programmes according to individual patient needs and to agreed intervention plans
Planning and regularly reviewing appropriate OT treatment programmes under the supervision of a Senior OT
Maintaining evaluation records of performance for individual patients, providing verbal or written data for ward rounds, assessment review meetings and actively participate in the clinical discussion of patients' needs, in the development of patient care plans
Liaising closely with other members of the clinical team, demonstrating a commitment to effective teamwork
Identifying and actioning relevant referrals both in-house, including support staff, and to external agencies, under the supervision of a Senior OT
Attending and actively contributing to CPA/case review meetings, working collaboratively with Patient Care Team colleagues in the planning and delivery of patients' treatment programmes
Ensuring that professional standards and COT Code of Conduct guidelines are adhered to
Ensuring that local policies, procedures and protocols are adhered to
Ensuring health and safety is maintained
Respecting the individuality, values, cultural and religious diversity of patients and contributing to the provision of a service sensitive to these needs
Ensuring that contemporaneous, written and electronic records and activity data are maintained in accordance with professional and service standards
Ensuring effective communication is maintained with all patients, carers and any staff involved in the patients' care

The successful candidate will have:

-A Degree in Occupational Therapy
-HCPC Registration
-Driving Licence
-Multidisciplinary team working
-Be aware of OT assessment processes
