Our client offers an exciting opportunity for you to make a real difference in a fast paced and challenging environment. They are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic occupational therapist (equivalent to Band 6/7) for the Community Equipment Service (CES) across Bedfordshire and Luton. Based from the Bedfordshire depot and out in the local area, you will be visiting equipment users prescribing a range of products and associated accessories to maximise the independence of our equipment users helping them towards meeting their potential.

They work in partnership with the CES Commissioning Manager and other NHS / Social Care colleagues, you will be involved in providing clinical advice to the equipment service, be responsible for a designated caseload of client reviews and support the development of new models for service delivery.

Dedicated support via clinical and managerial supervision will be provided alongside excellent opportunities for continual professional development. Our Community Equipment depots deliver a range of products and associated accessories to maximise the independence of clients, helping them towards meeting their potential.

Full training in all aspects of service provision within the boundaries of this role will be provided through a competency based development programme.

The ideal candidate will have:
*A BSc degree in Occupational therapy or Physiotherapy
*HCPC Registration
*Experience of working at a band 6 level
*Experience of undertaking holistic assessments
*Current UK driving licence, minimum 3 years, is essential, and a willingness to drive Millbrook vehicles
