Paediatric Occupational Therapist South East London
Full-Time - 37.5hrs per week
Band 5 - £22,000 - 28,000
Our client is looking for a Clinical Lead to support their schools service. This exciting opportunity will afford the right candidate the opportunity to develop leadership skills whilst still maintaining and developing clinical skills.
They are looking for a creative, energetic and passionate candidate, with strong clinical skills, experience of delivering therapy and a good understanding of family focused therapy and support services. To date, they have never turned away a child with clinical need and have funded therapy packages as well as specific structures in place to meet as many families financial means as possible.
They are just as committed to our therapist's providing good CPD with generous training and supervision budgets, previous training for the team have included, The Star Synopsyum, Dr Lucy Millar's Mentor programme, (USA), SOS feeding, SI Network, Chailey Seating, Therapeutic Listening, in house monthly CPD events, regular supervision.
The role would provide you with the opportunity to work directly with children and their families, in both the school and clinic setting. Taking part in in depth therapy programmes with a strong interprofessional team approach. We truly value the core concepts of OT, promoting occupationally focused treatments with occupation as our primary goal. Our team have access to MOHO, SCOPE, COPOM and other tools to support planning and reasoning for truly effective and measured treatments. We have robust recording, planning and structuring tools to make sure our standards are excellent, as well as a good administrative team so our clinicians can focus on clinical outcomes.
