My client is recruiting for a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to join our a Locked and Open Rehabilitation Services, based in Preston

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' OT experience within a mental health setting. You will be practically-minded and use your knowledge and skills to engage with service users. You will collaborate with the team and key stakeholders to promote peoples' occupational performance and enhance their ability to fulfil meaningful life roles.

Our client provides a range of high quality recovery focused mental health services for adults aged 18-65 at their two centres. Their service ethos is centred on the belief that all our service users should be able to lead an active and fulfilling life.

As an organisation they are committed to putting rehabilitation at the heart of everything we do to ensure that our service-users can build a more meaningful and fulfilling life within the community.
One of the sites is a 14-bedded locked rehab hospital for males, who experience a complex range of mental health illnesses. The other site is a 23-bed mixed gender open rehab service for individuals with enduring mental health needs.

Essentials for the role:

-Minimum of 2 years' experience in mental health setting
-HCPC registration
-Previous supervisory experience of Junior OT staff
