Band 7 - £32,000 - £40,000 pa - dependent on skills/experience

Just OT have a fantastic opportunity for a band 6 Occupational Therapist. Our client is looking for a full-time band 7 OT to work across multi locations, working with students ages 18-25 years old with physical and learning disabilities. In addition, the right applicant will also provide OT input to some academy schools, working with children and young people aged between 5-18 years old with physical and learning disabilities and/or social emotional mental health issues. The ideal applicant would ideally have the following experience and knowledge in the following:

The ideal candidate will have the following:

- Relevant experience at post graduate level & 2 years experience in paediatrics
- Excellent interpersonal skills - including observation, listening and empathy skills
- HCPC Registered
- Manual handling
- Good knowledge of postural management and seating equipment
- Sensory processing difficulties
- Supervisory Skills
- Be confident in lone working (Will be only OT on site at times)
- Upper Limb
- Fine and gross motor difficulties
- Skills development
- Good organisational and prioritisation skills
- Good communication and team work skills
- Challenging behaviour
- EHCPs
