JustOT are looking for a highly skilled Paediatric Occupational Therapist, to join a well-established Healthcare Provider based in West London. Our client is ready to welcome on board a motivated and dynamic band 7 Occupational Therapist to join an established MDT working in a fully integrated service. The successful candidate will take a lead role as a highly specialised clinician acting as an autonomous practitioner in the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of a diverse caseload.

Job Summary
You will will carry a varied caseload of children and young people. The caseload consists of children with a diverse range of special needs including complex neurological disorders, developmental co-ordination disorders and autistic spectrum disorders.

This position provides an ideal opportunity for you to develop your clinical skills alongside a supportive multi-disciplinary team whilst enhancing and developing your leadership and managing skills. This aspect of the role will include supporting and supervising staff, monitoring performance and driving forward service development. In addition to working alongside your immediate team, you will also work closely with the service manager who will offer on-going support and supervision.

This is a leadership position and the successful applicant will need to support staff, ensure clinical leadership and application of clinical governance frameworks and performance manage staff.

To qualify for this role, you must:
*Degree level qualification in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
*Be HCPC Registered
*Proven experience as a specialist Occupational Therapist
*MSc or postgraduate study in specialised area.
*Significant level of appropriate experience of working within a specialist field.
*Significant experience of carrying out specialist assessments and intervention.
*Knowledge / understanding of confidentiality issues and data protection.
*Experience of managing and supervising clinical staff
