Medical professionals to start work at new school

A range of medical professionals have begun work at a new school in Scotland, it has been revealed.
Opened earlier this week by First Minister Alex Salmond, the Donaldson's in Linlithgow features a speech and language therapist, an occupational therapist and a physiotherapist, among other personnel.
The facility is designed for children with hearing, speech and language difficulties and provides education and care for 70 youngsters.
Pupils at the centre are aged between two-and-a-half years and 19.
"I congratulate the staff and pupils on their collective strength in making this school a national institute for education and I wish them all the best in their new, excellent school building," stated Mr Salmond.
In other industry news, speech therapists were recently among a group of people with UK medical jobs to be involved in a scheme to help youngsters who suffer from stammers.
Professionals at Hadleigh Clinic ran the week-long summer courses, the Essex Echo reported.
